Finman's been around this board since at least 2001, providing quality advice.

Default Long way to go before this forum sinks to S4 level....

The folks in this forum are far more polite and refined - it's almost a flame-free zone!

While I don't always agree with Finman's POV on everything, I do appreciate his contributions from the perspective of a non-ar Audi owner, as well as his sense of humor. As ar2002 mentioned, Finman has been on this board for longer than most and he adds a lot to the diversity of discussion. Vive la difference!

Default What do the michelins have to do with me being an as*?

Just trying to stir these guys up a bit...they've been slackin'...they really need some 4.2 allroads or a Pikes Peak or two in here to add some variety...on the A6 forum we have 2.8s (the old cheapas*es), 3.0s (the new cheapas*es), 2.7T (the bad boys of the crowd), 4.2s (the snobs), and S6s (the fools who blow $60k on a car that the 2.7T stick can beat to 60)...with an allroader (the rebel "look at me" guys) or two stickin' their nose in every now and then...not to mention some first-gen A6ers and UrS4/S6 guys (the "old ones are way better than the new ones" guys) too...

Just a little friendly jab every now and then...plus, everyone gets to say how great their allroad is which makes everyone happy...I'm a lover...not a fighter...

What does this have to do with those crappy michelins?!
