Default Just back from the dealership - last AoA service warranty visit

There she goes off warranty. They put new pads on the front, sanded the rotors. They don't turn or replace the rotors when brakes need to be done on Audi's dime, they said.

3 new wipers, my first new set. A mystery rattle couldn't be found. Suspension okay. Clutch 'like new' and everything else looking good.

The driver's seat rocks back and forth a bit. It has since new, and the dealer had said that's normal back then. Today, they say the seat frame is bad. I'm getting a new seat frame that will be installed next week with the same seat material over it.

No leaks, no noises, no vibrations. My cel looks like new. Dealer said a lot of them are going bad from 2002 and older. Smooth and freshly washed, back in the drive after a day with a frontrack A4. How do you all put up with that automatic? Even without 'tip lag' it is not fun.

Default tell me more about the seat. Mine does the same, and also....

the seat back is angled in towards the center console. Last time I was in, they tried an instant fix (push). It didn't take. I need to go to the next level.

Default more seat

The driver's seat is oriented correctly. It just rocks a bit front to back, about a cm or so. It is as if there is a loose bolt holding it down. Dealer said that it was normal in '04. I knew it wasn't and hoped it would get worse. It stayed the same, but it was not much of an irritant.

When I brought it up this time at 50k,the dealer investigated and found nothing loose. They just ordered a new frame. I'll let you know if it's better next week.

Cool. I think I'm going to need a new frame, hope it's CPO-able.
