Lights Out On Trip Computer?

Lights Out On Trip Computer?
Turned on the AR this am and the display for the trip computer was blank. (i.e. I don't see outside temp or fuel consumption display.)
Very confused?
I know that the "led" lights work because the auto check system uses the same display and it is working.
I get no response when I press the "reset" button or the computer function control switches on the windshield wiper lever.
Please help.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
What sort of diagnostic should I run?
What could it be, just a busted computer or somethng?
