Lowering coils on arnott coil conversion
I have a 2002 allroad with the arnott coil conversion. What springs can I use for a 1"- 1.25" drop? Eibach, H&R? Thank you, Ken

The Arnott springs are designed to fit the geometry of the Arnott spring perches. They are unique and interchanging them with other aftermarket (or even OEM ) springs would take some adaptation to the lower perches. Sure you "could" install different spring perches, but the ride height would be a function of that new geometry with no guarantee that the ride height what you want. There are many variables to consider other than just the springs. The Arnott springs are smaller in diameter at the spring perch end so that at full droop the spring doesn't contact the upright (which it actually does, but barely).
Ditch the conversion kit and install a full C5 suspension if you want to try other springs.
