I just read the AudiWorld article. Sounds like an amazing car.

Me too--except I'd want the S5 powerplant option available...
Or maybe the 4.0T...
I guess we'll see how reliability is on this engine longer term. It will be interesting to see how the aftermarket responds, and whether you can do much tuning. I'm assuming Audi may become like BMW where they are warned instantly if something has been played with.
I found it interesting in the article that the 4.2 weighed less than the 2.7T. Never knew that. The extra weight of the 4.2 allroad has always, in every thing I've read, been attributed to the engine. Sounds more like it is the increased level of packaged options, or the tranny.
To me, the biggest difference in driving the B8 chassis is the level of refinement. All the improvements (using the S5 as my example) have really made this a great platform.
