Re: A Maz"da" All Road? - Give me a break
I don't know... a few days ago we were tossing around how succesful the ar will be in response to someone who thought it was just a quick release on audi's part. IMHO wagons are becoming cool, and people (myself included) are tired of driving around in full size land yachts just to go to the friggin store, yet need the 4x4 and ground clearance for the weekend! I think audi will do well if they succesfully develop the hybrid wagon/SUV/performance sedan as a new market segment, since they'll be the first one in it. That is a real advantage -> if you can't be first in your market then create a new market. Maybe Mazda's plans support this segment as the next craze to follow SUVs ?
Who knows? Time will tell, but either way I'll still be happy with my ar!

Re: Looks good, just not very allroad-y...
I think that pic was of the stock new 6 series wagon, which I agree is nice looking. I don't think that any pics of the "allroad-ified" version of the car exists yet.
Still, it will always be the less fortunate stepchild of the allroad.
