Default Mechanical Breakdown Coverage for those who cant find extended

warrenty.

I know someone here was worried cause they couldnt find extended coverage for there ar.

I sell insurance and we have a company that sells Mechanical Breakdown Protection.

Covers Engine, Drive Axle, Transmission, Suspension, Steering, Engine Cooling system, Brakes, Electrical Systems, Air conditioning, Fuel systems. (Each catagory has list of items that they will cover).

Pretty much you buy the plan and pay a deductible when you have a claim. You can take where you want repaired and report claim to company and they approve for payment before repairs are preformed.

If anyone wants a copy of the 2 plans email me.

Default sounds like my Geico plan....

But mine covers any kind of repair/breakdown for as long as I own it regardless of miles. $200.00 decutible.

Default YGM. Do they cover airbag suspension and components? What about Torque converters, do they replace

the whole tranny? And if the turbo go do they replace just one turbo or both?

Default I'm concerned about the working "Turbo charger housing" listed under covered items

Does that mean if the internals fail (which is 99% of the case) that it's not covered? are they replaced in pair? Are they replaced with new parts or just rebuilt?

Default Mercury is a leading company, but product may be limited to certain states and it's been some time

since I read one of the contract. I think I have one in a file at work. See how it defines suspension parts. I once read a policy that expressly only covered steel springs. This will be "listed parts only" coverage, not "all risks" type, but may help those with older cars.

I would not mind reading a copy, OC02allroad.
