Default Milpitas... post instructions for Paulsb01 on...

the method for tracing the timing with VAG-COM. He has an 03 with an APR and I'm interested in the performance. Thanks.

Default Okay.

Start your VAG, log Meas blocks 003 and 115.

What you should do is get your car up to operating temps, and log a 3rd gear pull. This should start from around 3K and end around 6500 RPM (2800-6200 or whatever).

This will give us a solid picture of how the car is behaving. You should probably do this a couple of times, send me the logs and we can discuss (graph etc).

Also please indicate type of fuel and outside temp.
