Misfire cyl 1, not coilpack or ICM?
Hi all,
Former active K04'd A4 member back to Audis with a 2002 K04'd Allroad (see sig) and very glad to be back!
I've got a recurring misfire in Cylinder 1, P0301 code on my scanner. Misfire shows up under 3/4 throttle or more, above 10lbs of boost. Swapped coil packs around and swapped ICMs around and it didn't move to another cylinder, still cyl 1. It did go away for a short time when I swapped the coilpacks, but came right back a couple of days later. I can't see any other obvious causes, wiring looks ok, no obvious boost leaks. I do have a bit of exposed wire on the MAP sensor lead, but the wire itself seems intact. I don't think that would cause a cyl 1 specific issue anyway. Any thoughts on what to check next?
No vag-com, so can't log any blocks on my own.

Nope, not yet. I read another post that mentioned a "module that controls the injectors" being a similar issue, but I don't know of anything with that specific function?
