My dealer still has 8 or 9 2005 leftovers on their lot with the plastic still on them!

What kind of a deal can be had here and are they still considered "new" cars from a warrantee standpoint?

They should have a full new car warranty. You could just ask the dealer and....
Since they haven't sold by now it sounds like they held out too long at too high a price. You might suggest they cut their losses and make you an offer that will get one off their lot and into your garage. You'd think by now they would have priced them to sell or sold them to the their service department to use as loaners.

Even if I did make a deal, I still need to decide if I want 2 AR's.
The way I go through cars, I'm concerned that I would get sick of it in half the time it usually takes. My wife's '02 has 71K and runs well and we own it outright so I don't want to have 2 car payments just to "reset" the odometer by trading her car in for the leftover. It's the E500 that I'm looking to replace.
What would you do?

Diversity is good.
I wouldn't want two of one brand just in case there is brand wide problem I find really bugs me. I've always wanted a E class sedan but needed a wagon and found the allroad better for my needs than the MB E class wagon. My other car is a coupe. If I had the money a new E550 sedan would sure be nice in addition to my present allroad.
For you, I think keeping your present allroad that seems to be working fine is a good thing. I can't advise you on the sedan as only you know what you want versus how much you want to spend.

Refresh that E500 with a E550

Too bad for them they can't find a way to put them on their website....
they aren't new so the build doesn't find them as they all use Audi's code and they aren't really used so they don't list them in their pre-owned....might I suggest a reason they still have 7 or 8 is that no one knows they are there? For fear of a rant don't get me started on bad websites.

going to Hoffman this AM....
I am droping my car off for an oil change there this morning so I will take a look.... and update this post.
Knowing Hoffman as I have for years, the price is going to be way too high. They tend to be the most expensive on all of their cars compared to other dealers in the area and New England, no clue why.
I bought my car from New Country in Greenwich but live 25 mins from Hoffman. They had the same exact car with about 2000 more miles for $6000 more and they wouldn't negotiate at all on their price.
