Default My indy says I need a new master cylinder. Anyone have this replaced yet?

AR's got 108K miles and the brakes have been feeling a little spongy lately. I just haven't seen where many allroad people have needed this done yet. Indy quoted $318 parts and 2 hrs. labor. Seem about right?

Default did it on s4. price and labor are more than fair. my AR is still on original

did you try flushing fluid, purge ABS controller, then bleeing brake lines.. if that didn't help,,, how worn are pads/rotors?

Default pads & rotors are in good shape. I trust that my indy checked all else...

It just seemed to me with all the other wear/tear items and issues with allroads (and I've had my share), I don't recall anyone else replacing the master cylinder. I chalk it up with the high mileage and lots of around town driving, especially with my son driving it, the mc was bound to go. Still a great car, though.
