Default Need a good all-season tire (good snow capability) to replace the crappy Goodyears. please HELP?

Don't need a dedicated high performance tire since my wife using the car the majority of the time. Need something that good in snow since the OE goodyears are just a death trap. I have heard good things about Nero M/S and Pilot A/S. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

See post directly below (jack lock) for my recommendation. Michellin Pilot Sport A/S another good option, but about twice the money. I spent $109/tire (not including mounting/road-force balancing) at discount on the Falken Ziex 512s.

Default Once again...Nokian WR-V.

Probably the best snow performance of any all season without losing much warm weather capability.

At 23,000 miles I chucked the oem Pirellis on my 2003 Allroad. I opted for a set of Michelin Hydroedge. They are not speed rated as the oem tires, but are very good. The tires handle great in rain and snow and are the quietest running tires I've had on a car.

Default I like my set. they have been doing well in Denver's snow this winter

even after doing well on the track this summer. Next year I'll get around to putting on some real snows for the winter.

Default mine are working fine in coastal California.

Way better in warm weather than the Dunlop M2's I had on my S4.

Default I'm Using Michelin PS A/S on allroad and Nero M+S on S4 Avant

I get limited exposure to snow--only when I travel to Tahoe/Reno. Both sets have been through snow storms in the Sierra Nevada's with exceptional results; far better than any previous everyday tire I've owned. Great in the water as well, while losing little in the dry. I highly recommend either.

Both have faired well in rain storms up in Oregon as well. No hydroplaning that I could feel.

I agree, perfect up to now, snow AND V-rated, and you can run them all year.
