Need help with 'stained' aluminum door blades...stfa not much help...more..
Bought a set of used 'perfect' allroad door blades to put on my C5. Well...not exactly perfect if you know what I mean. What looks to be staining of some kind running from the top of the blade to the bottom as if something had dripped down over them. Someone mentioned automatic car was soaps being particularly known for this. Worked with Mothers Aluminum polish for quite some time in various directions but really did not see any improvement.
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

That was my question
If not, I would just use some Nevr-dull metal cleaner. If clear coated, that is a different story. Same applies to the roof rack. I also appreciate a reply from anyone who knows for sure.
