need some selling advice for a price to ask for my 01 Allroad with 17k miles
I have a 2001 Allroad which is in excellent and has very little sign of wear. It pretty much drives like new and if you saw it you would think it was a 2004.
It has about 17,000 miles and I don't know my option packages but I can give you an idea of some of the equipment, it's black with black/grey int.
Tiptronic, Xenons, heated front and rear seats, cd changer, in dash cd player, cassette.
17" OEM upgraded wheels, sunroof, cruise, etc.
Anyway what is the maximium I should ask for it, I am in no rush to sell it and have no problem listing it on cars.com for many months to get the right price.
The cars has no problems to speak of and still has warranty until March 2005.
Thanks for your advice !!

What's your zip code, car color, do you have Parktronic, Bose stereo, Navigation, third row seats, what do you mean by "upgraded" wheels?
With the info that you gave us so far, and according to www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com, you should be able to get anywhere between 29 and 31K for it... Someone else might chime in to confirm those numbers or say i have no idea what i'm talking about...

You can try for upper $20s...the mileage and remaining warranty are...
advantages...the big disadvantage is that no matter how many months you've had it, it is still now 4 model years old, which makes anything above 50% of original sticker very tough to obtain.
It's a good time for you to sell it...before there is so little warranty remaining that buyers may be hesitant. 15-17 months of warranty is pretty good.
