New to Audi Allroads, looking for suspension advice

Just a quick question. Anyone have an ordered list of steps I should take to diagnose inoperable suspension? Just bought a 2004 Allroad at an auction, found out after the fact that suspension is not working. On the drive home in snow car handled poorly, very loose back end.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a 2004 allroad

I have had my allroad for a little over a year bought mine with bad front air bags and that was a fun ride home felt like a lowrider bouncing around lol. There a few videos on utube the steps to find leaks and this place is great to search. Check the air valve solenoid it might be sticken. I got rid of my air suspension to BC Racing coil overs nice ride handles great and you can adjust them. If you dont want too go that route i hear arnott has a great warrenty kinda wish i would of kept the air suspension loved the feeling going down the expressway when it lowers kids loved it. I found ecs tuning website has some good prices guys there very knowledgeable. FCP euro has good prices lifetime warrenty on parts. The one thing i wish i knew of the plastic fan that bolts to the clutch fan the plastic got a crack in it or something end up exploding driving down the road.

Limited Lifetime warrenty. You can go to arnottindustries.com.

I recommend googling allroad airbag replacement generally vs going straight to Ebay as the aftermarket is coming around for parts for these cars. The gen 2 arnott bags are lifetime and I've seen good results on the forum as far as them holding up.

You can likely find a diagnostic on YouTube. The best suggestion is get or borrow a VAGCOM reader which is not foolproof but it definitely can set you on the right course.

I have AR 2002 2.5TDI for 8 years 290000 KM on the clock. On 2015 I ganged 4 air springs front and rear to Arnott first generation whith the garenty for life and since that for 130000 KM no problem. But the air system it is not only 4 air bags, you have alsow the pneumatic system to maintain.
googel for "SSP 242 and SSP 243" Getting to know the air suspension system.
