New (to me) allroad owner, and I have a hitch question >.<
Hi guys (and gals), I just traded my `05 Mustang GT in for an `03 allroad (and not regretting it yet either
I'm thinking about getting one of those European hitches, from the pics here, it looks beefier, and could easily be modified to add safety chain loops.
I've read the `03s are prewired for trailer wiring, does it include the wiring for electric trailer brakes? How would you adjust the sensitivity? (I don't know a whole lot about trailers, but I do remember all my dads trucks had electric brake controllers in the cab)

03 is pre wired for lights and blinkers...
You would have to get the harness for prewired plug in the rear. I think it can be ordered from trailer supply dealers if the Euro does not come with it.
There is no provision for adjustable elctic brakes in the system. You would have to run the wiring and harness that comes with the trialer brakes.
I had a u-haul with mechanical brakes on the trailer and they worked perfectly. 900+ miles, 3500+ lbs and no problems.
