Non-dealer shops in Washington DC area??
I am curious as to who owners in the DC area take their Audi to for non-dealer service. I need to have someone modify the compressor mounting bracket to stop the bang bang banging of the compressor on the PSK sway bar, but am not sure I want to take it to the dealer. I know there are a couple of places that work on Audis ... Dr John's Motorsports, Curry Automotive. Any experience with them? Any recommendations on others to take it to?
thanks for your help..

I think Curry's is a good shop but...
...they have made two unsuccessful attempts to get the PSK sway mounted without rubbing and without the air compressor making a much bigger racket. I don't doubt that they will keep working on it to get it right but it hasn't been quite enough of a problem to motivate me to bring the car back.

New tuner just opened in Hannover MD
this is about 1/2 way from DC to Baltimore. I have not used them, but they seem eager to please. A tuner will always understand your modding needs better than a straight repair shop. I know that they have at least on ASE certified master tech. Give these guys a call and report back your impressions! You can be our Mid-Atlantic guinea pig
