Default OEM Mud Flaps - $101 front and $101 rear!! Ouch!!

I just checked the Audiusa.com website to see how much the OEM allroad mud flaps cost... and I was shocked to see that they are $202 for a set of four!! Yikes!! I did a search through the forum and saw a price of $80 for a set. Perhaps that was three years ago?

Anyone know of a better/cheaper place to get them, or an alternative set?

Default Maybe not...

Clair's prices are slightly better, but still have to pay for shipping:

Front Form-Fit Molded Splash Guards
Part No.: 4Z7-075-111
Clair Price: $ 90.62

Rear Form-Fit Molded Splash Guards
Part No.: 4Z7-075-101
Clair Price: $ 90.62

Regards,
Gavin

Default Talked my dealer down to $150 for all 4.. They installed them for another $50.

I'm not sure I would put them on again. I live in Snow for 5 months a year and they really make the allroads pack more snow into the wheelwells than without. If you don't get snow, but want them for mud and rain, they do help there. I'll most likely pull the rears off for the winter and see if it helps.

Thanks for the honest feedback. Given the high cost and the fact that I don't really like the look of them, I think I'm going to wait and see how this first winter goes without having them.

We don't get a lot of snow... and I don't plan on doing a lot of off-road mudding and trailblazing, so I might be able to save myself $200 in the long run.

And also... at a cost of $2 for a wash/rinse (via the handheld sprayer type) at my local car wash, $200 will go a long way towards rinsing off the snow, slush, and mud etc. :-)

Default I found that it was the road sand blasting effect....

that made me pony up to a set of flaps. The back door flare was getting pitted and the stainless steel lower rails were feeling the blast as well. Warning, ar flaps are not easy to put on.
