Do you have a better pic of your moldings? Where did you get them from? I was thinking of doing the same although whenever I park somewhere my wife complains that the parking lot shuttle bus doesn't come that far out.

the moldings are from an S6 and can be purchased from your local dealer or on occasion...here on the AudiWorld used market. Often time S6 owners want the brushed aluminum moldings (you always want what you don't have; right)from the a/r and are willing to trade + give you cash. Install is about 2-5 minutes per door and simply involves to small screws.

Understand though the switch is purely for aesthetics and doesn't provide any additional protection to your a/r. Looking at yoor comments about your wife...it seems you may be after additional door protection and not so much a different "look" for your car...if that's the case this isn't a good mod for you.
