For a first storm, this seems like a big one.
I think this was the line that got my interest: " UP TO 4 FEET OF SNOW IS LIKELY
IN THE SIERRA ABOVE 7000 FEET BY TUESDAY NIGHT..."
A 4-foot dump in October.

That's if I get home, I still have my summer tires on, and I don't think they will make it up the driveway,(even quattro can't over come lack of cross tred)
I'm at work now, off for the next four days, and we did put chains on the loader just in case.
