Police found my allroad!

Police found my allroad!
Not through lo-jack though. I've been away on Vacation, so haven't seen the car yet, so all I know is there is some minor bodywork damage, and that the car "isn't trashed".
Lo-jack apparently didn't activate. They found the car as it had amassed a weeks worth of parking tickets.
More details when I see the car...

Saw the car today...
It looks like they're going to replace the entire rear flared fenders, since it appears the theives reversed into something. Other than that, no damage other than a scrached "M" on the rear (do car theives tag cars so they know they've been taken?)
All the cds were still in the cd player, the nav cd is still there, the interior looks fine.
Everything loose in the car (digital camera, sweatshirts, sailing gear, talkabouts) is gone though. Home owners insurance should cover that.
Now I just need to wait and find out how long it'll take the bodyshop to get hold of the replacement pieces from Audi. This might be a while - I seem to remember something about they only come in primer, and you have to paint them to match.
The Lo-Jack people are going to refund the installation cost, and fix it too, since it didn't work. The bodyshop is also going to check the tranny oil and the engine oil for any metal shavings incase it was abused, and run full diagnostics at an audi dealer.
I checked out the suspension and everything seems fine - no warning lights or anything.

Glad it was not "overly" trashed
Some punks stole my wife's new prelude a few years ago and got into a police chase. They bailed from the car while it was moving (downhill no less) and it took out 3 other cars (Over 7K in damage including a rebuilt engine) Unibody was never the same - couldn't get the driver's side door to properly realign. Damn insurance company wouldn't total it! But we did get over 10 years and 75,000 miles of use from it Hope your experience goes well from here on out!

Re: Police found my allroad!
Ooups....... My concern is how could it happen in the first place? Don't you need the Ignition Key with the Chip inside to move the allroad? I'm a little bit concerned now, Please tell me they didn't just Hotwire the Car and took off. Maybe I need more appropriate Equipment to prevent these things and never mind the Lo-jack, very dissapointing. I really would expect more security in a $50K car.
Thanks,
Thomas
