Putting a 2001 allroad into storage

I need to park my allroad for 6-12 months, how should I prep it for storage. Mostly I'm wondering about the air suspension and which state I should leave it in. I just recently replaced all my airbags with the basic Arnott airbags.

Should I put the car on jacks and leave it in "jack" mode? Should I disconnect them from the airlines if I'm disconnecting the battery?

Thanks for any help you can provide :)

p.s. Any other good tips for long term storage are also welcome

I'd change the oil, fill the gas tank, add Stabil, drive to the parking spot, put in jack mode and park.

I would also put a tarp down, get a car cover, place on jack stands, fill all tires to maximum pressure, connect the battery to a trickle charger and if possible remove the fuel pump fuse. That way you'll be able to spin the engine to get oil circulating without the engine actually starting once you're ready to get it back on the road. Really helps to prevent engine wear!

I have an Allroad car cover that fits exactly which I am looking to sell if you're interested.

+ Seat leather conditioning is worthy
+ Put cat litter into the foot area of the compartment on trays. Against air moisture..
+ Handle all rubber door and hatch seals with glycerin against aging and fatigue. You can get it from pharmacy.

+ If it is in a garage, you do not need to worry much about the brakes. But if there is too much humidity i would do something to protect the rotors. A nylon sack (under the wheel) can be useful.

Awesome, all good advice I didn't think about. It will be sitting in the garage in a pretty dry climate but I'll try and do all the things you recommend!
