Question for fellow 2.5 TDI ar owners... help please.
Could you please have a look in your service manual and tell me exactly what the mandatory service items are at every 120,000 km (or 180,000 km or there abouts).
My manual is in flippin' Portuguese and am dratted if I know what a "corida distribu??o" is. One thing I know is that I've had it serviced a few times and each time it costs me about 1,500 Euros :-(
I'd like to know what this blessed service is for! No-one at my local Audi Stealership speaks English and my Portuguese, good though it may be, does not extend to technical matters.
Thanks for any help.

Confirmed!
I checked my manual this morning, and there are 2 extra things at 120.000km:
- Timing belt for camshafts
- Timing belt for injectors
hope this helps you out
Cheers, Dave

Thank youhoohoo!
Much obliged. At least I know what they are doing. Last time I just took it on the chin. These days I'm tasking an interest on what goes on under her hood.
Think I'll get the water pump checked too.
Thanks dave!

water pump
I don't know for sure on a V6 TDI, but I remember on my 4&5 cil Audi's and VW's the timing belt was also driving the water pump.
Mechanics I knew always recommended replacing the water pump when doing the timing belt because of the risk of the water pump leaking after changing the timing belt. And when you're that far in the car, you might just as well do it anyway
