Question regarding rear bumper assembly...
Our allroad was at the body shop recently to repair minor damage to the rear bumper cover caused by a rear-ender. When I picked it up after the repair, I noticed that the front corners of the bumper cover where it meets the rear fender flares are not completely attached. If I reach underneath and pull on the bumper cover, it pulls away from the body and I can see a hole molded into the plastic which seems to be an attachment point. The body shop is telling me there is no place on the fender to receive a screw. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well they are wrong. The bumper bottom corners
screw to the fender flares. Typical bullS*&t from body shops. Leave out half the fastners to get it done sooner, and then tell you that's the way it should be.

actually there are four screws at each corner -
one that goes through the carpet lining the wheel well, and then 2 more under the carpet. plus there is one that comes up from the bottom.
this is looking in to the driver side rear wheel well...
