Default Radio Serial Number & Code

I want to find the serial number and the code for the Bose radio in my new car. The dealer told me to look in the compartments in the back which I did. In the compartment on the passenger's side of the storage area, I found what I think is the Bose unit. On the side was a sticker with two numbers. Unfortuantely, they were labeled in German. The top number was labeled "Kunden-Nr:" and the one below it was labeled "R&S-Nr:". Can someone who knows German please confirm that the first is the serial number and the second, the code?

If these are not the numbers that I need, can someone please tell me where to look and what exactly to look for?

I pulled out the manuals and looked. The radio infomation booklet had a nice tear-out card for recording the serial number and code for the radio number ... but it did not have the actual numbers. Which leads me once more to ask, where are the codes and are they labeled in German with the descriptors that I gave?

Default ask the dealer....

if you know the name of the dealer who originally sold the car, they typically keep track of the radio codes (by VIN). I noticed this when I looked at a repair order at my dealer.

Give it a shot. Good luck!!!

Default kruden means "customer"

The dealer should be able to find and/or retireve the code is not written anywhere in the car. What would be be point of that? the code is to prevent theft, if it is on the radio it is stealable.

the serial numbers start with AU... and is a 14 character (digits and alphas).

Again take it to the dealer they should be able to get the serial number from the unit (via OBD) and get the code from that out of the service database.
