Semperit sport grip winter tires
I have an opportunity to pick up 4 original 17" allroad wheels for winter, they come with Semperit sport grip winter tires (8/32 all 4). What are these tires worth? Any good for winter? Need your opinion so I can negotiate the best price possible. Thanks.

My son just researched these for his Evo...
Semperit was a great tire years ago. (my old Spitfire)
I figured.. Snow Tires made in Sweden? They get a lot of snow there, they must know about tires.
They do have a good rep.
He bought them yesterday and so far they seem nice he said. No snow in Hartford yet.

We had a set on a FWD car. Ther are not great in deep snow and ice. They are better than all seasons in 3- 4" of snow, but they are quiet, corner well, and have a long life. Probably a good match for the allroad if they have the proper load rating...

They came off an allroad, so I would assume they are the proper size tires. How much would you offer for a set of 4 used OEM allroad 17" wheels with used winter tires? From the pics, the wheels look mint. Will go and check them out, seller is asking $700US for the set. I'm thinking of offering $500.
