There are only two options available for the Evo. One is a sunroof and the other is this rediculous wing!

Default It was just time for me to get back into a driver's car. Something with a

manual transmission. I still want a daily driven 11 sec car. =) When I had the allroad, the trunk was always empty. Not even a stroller. Became pretty obvious that we don't need two big cars.

The allroad with the snow tires is the best winter car, bar none. I'm really going to miss the heated seats/steering wheel.

Default LOL. Why don't you just get it? Seems like you're trying hard to justify the purchase. If you

want a write up on the STI, talk to Milpitas. I never drove it. That boxer engine(STI) sounds really good though, especially with after-market exhaust. I made my decision to give up luxury for high performance. Now, how about you?

Default Like you....

My compromise is giving up "semi luxury" for performance. I plan on keeping the allroad, but selling the wifey's car (Jetta GLX), to fund either STI or EVO VIII.

I really like the STI, but everytime I open a publication (SCCA's "the wheel", Automobile, car and driver, road and track, etc...) they all rant about the EVO.

Just when I think I have made up my mind, I rethink the EVO. Which leads me to this. Give me your honest impression. Tell me what you love, and what you hate about the EVO.

It is time I did not compromise on power and performance, as this choice will lead to my ultimate daily driver.

TIA!!!
