Default headlight switch > only if the same as a MKIV GTI < no help on the mirror-

1. While in the off position, push the switch in while turning `on' the switch will move to a position in between `on' and `off' you may hear a click sound.

2. Pull switch out, unhook harness by squeezing the little tabs on each side.

Sorry, can't help on the mirror control.

Default mirror control: use a putty knife or other thin metal shiv to slide ...

vertically down in front of or behind the switch pod (I don't think it matter which, fore or aft) and pry it up. then the cover piece can be pried off the switch, and easy snap-in reassembly.

I just did it a few weeks ago.

Default Here you go >

genuinevwaudiparts.com is the cheapest I've seen it at just under $250.
In the link, paste this part number ZAW400107 in the search by OEM part number, select make (Audi) then hit the search button.
Not sure why the link I gave does not show the search results.

I spent $50 on ebay (luck).<ul><li><a href="http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=searchCatalogOEM&amp;siteid=21440 7">OEM Cover</a></li></ul>

I got so disgusted with the condition of the headlight switch, mirror control, and climate controls I have decided to replace them all with new parts form the stealer, thank God for the discount.

Mirror switch was broken off during unloading of the car on my return from Florida. And when I found the parts available at the local dealer I decided to pull the pin and replace them all.

Mirror Switch
4b1-959-565-a01c
cost: 61.37

Mirror Switch Trim
4b0-959-557-a-b98
cost: 28.33

Headlight Switch w/trim
4b1-941-531-e-5pr
Cost: 131.82

Climate Control was not avail, but dealer ordered it @ 431.

With the interior of the car being in immaculate condition with the exception of these items I felt it was acceptable to spend the amount if I could do the install myself.

Default your old h-light switch?

hey what are you doing with your old switch?
I'm up here in Canada and we have daytime running light (corners, fogs and taillights) come on as soon as I start the car

I am not a fan of that

I am told you can that it might be a cnd version of the switch

so I was wondering if you wanted to send me your old swtich and I can see if it work before I dish out a bunch of money

thanks
