Default So test drove the Saturn Vue Redline..

Ya ya I know, but you know the looks made me turn my melon one time so figured what the hell and now it's not powered by GM anymore soo..

So anyways just wanted to add this to my test drive list (think I have added quite a few to it)..

Anyways, exterior, besides being a saturn, it's not bad, I like it..
Interior, cheap, cheap... Seats are not very good the leather is okay but the seats are really thin and just not very comfortable. Room, lots of it, the kid was able to climb in on his own (since it has a lowered stance), the wife liked the lil cheap grocery holder in the back. The car drove nice and the awd system is a bit different since it drives the front wheels unless it feels slip then will transfer that to the rear wheels (same system on the honda X(forget), but the honda has an override switch to force it in AWD (I believe the tranny can transfer as much as 70% to front or rear. (engine/tranny are Hondas)

Powertrain, is borrowed from the Honda their 3.5 liter V6, 250hp (odd, I don't know the Torque rating... Anyways the motor is pretty smooth (I know they have a supercharger out/planned for the honda 3.5, but nothing yet for the Saturn (but a supercharged honda 3.5 might not be bad). The tranny shifted fine (auto only).

Overall I was actually impressed (didn't help that I went into it with very negative feelings), but it's not a bad ride. The wife said it was a mix between an SUV and a minivan. Definately has more room, but doesn't have the mini van look and has the sporty lowered SUV look.

And again the kid was able to crawl in and stand between the front seats the the back seats with room to spare, in fact I had the vehicle for a few hours, Tyler looked tiny in his Car seat in the back of that thing (there is quite a bit of room.

Again no manual, interior quality is pretty bad, some may not like the styling, but I think they did a pretty good job. It's price is a bit high for what it is, due to the interior quality. Full options out the door with BS CA sales tax it's like $34K, probably $5-$7k too much I think

Just the lastest "what Tory test drives"

I like the way it looks from the outside, I have never been in one.
