Default Something for the Nav deprived

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53331/garmin_gps.jpg"></center><p>I'm sure that this has been posted before, but if you need a portable moving map nav/locater/PDA this is the ticket. I have Nav in my ar, this gives me the visual reference that I miss out on. also the maps are as up to date if not better then the 2004 update for the in car Nav. Plus it is so simple to use. Just tap on an address from you address list, or pick a place out of the onboard files and its that easy. Voice comands

I added a 1gig sd card and have the better part of the hole US with about 750gigs left.

Also it works mounted were the phone is, next to the cup holder down out of the way but still easy to see.

I have had this unit for about 8 mos and it works great. If you get this be sure to get the "car kit" with it. It plugs into cig lighter and has a better speaker and will always keep it charged. I have found it to be dead on accurate in the US. I took it to Italy a few weeks ago and it worked great over there also( You will need the Europe CD). It did miss a few streets but found all the hotels, resturants, etc. Great unit! You can get them lower than retail here http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/index.html?p=766<ul><li><a href="http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/index.html?p=766">http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/index.html?p=766</a</li></ul>

Default E-bay and Overstock had them for around $450+, Best Buy was $550 something plus $100 for the SD chip

Not cheap but like a laptop, it is so portable, and does more then then just Nav. Did I mention you can get Euro maps, so when you go to the Tour you can plot you course.
