Squeaky ventilation fan. Anyone experience this?
With the cold weather in New England lately, the ventilation fan in my AR has developed an intermittent squeak. Funny thing is, it gets worse when the car leans into a turn.

this is an easy repair....they just remove the glovebox...
i've pulled my glovebox out a few times...and it takes 10 minutes....tops.
You can expect them to do this repair in under an hour.
Trust me, if its the blower bearing..than its an easy fix.

PS: I live in Boston (Go Sox!!)

It is probably the fan rubbing against the housing
I had the exact same problem on my '01. And similar to TeddyBGame, the squeak was worse in turns.
Simple fix - take off glove box door, unbolt and pull out fan assembly, and spray silicone lubricant around edge of fan where it seats into the housing.
Mine has lasted over 2 years and 60k miles without the squeak returning.
