Sweet, that's the first time that I've seen a real pic of the standard wheels. They look very nice.

BTW, MarkFank, is that a Lightspeed on the left side?

I'm torn as to whether I should put my rack on the top (I upgraded from a Passat and kept my Yakima rack). The cargo area of the allroad has enough room to hold two bikes without going through too many contortions and I have a good liner back there so the car itself doesn't get too dirty.

Do you hear a lot of wind noise with the rack installed? That's one thing that I didn't like about having the rack up on my Passat.

Default Those are griffinpup's bikes & it is a litespeed. I put my bikes on top.

I ride a Trek OCLV on the road and a Specialized FSRxc S-Works on the dirt. I have the Yakima set up with 2 anklebiter mounts & one fork mount for around town biking and I have fit 4 fork mounts for longer trips. No wind noise if you use the new 38" fairing. Put the bars a few inches behind the sunroof so the fairing can rest on the roof.

Hmmm, I'll have to take a pic of my Moots YBB next to my allroad and include it in my posts! ;-)

So does that Raven belong to someone else?

In any case, sweet bikes to go along with a sweet car!

Default Let me know how you like the eggbeaters after you've ridden them a while.

I've got Time ATAC Carbons & love them. The big advantage I see with the eggbeaters (besides their really cool funky look) is shedding mud and we don't get a lot of mud here and if the trails are really muddy I try not to ride them do avoid doing damage & pissing off the hikers then having them scream and close access to mtn bikes on more trails around here. GRRRRRR!! rant over.
