Surprise, surprise. The service manager that I dealt with @ the dealer played dumb IMHO. No recognition of smell or suspension noise. He said that a burnt clutch would stink up the car for days, and had his doubts. It rained here in Chicago all day so the suspension noise could have been dampered by the moisture. He had one of his techs take it home for the night, (I'm dissapointed that these "professionals" are missing what a shade-tree mechanic like myself can clearly notice) so until tomorrow...
