Default I thought...
They turned off when you turn your engine off... At least in my '03 the main headlights do.

Is it different on the '04s?

Default Parking lights stay on though...
I agree - that is a function I'd like to see because I like to drive with my lights on all the time unless it's really a sunny day. As fall comes, I have them on every time I drive. Would be a nice function.
