Are you referring to the retrofit? Or Teddy's sig?

Misc.
=====
During removal it will be fairly common to loose the clips for the D-pillar and side cargo sections into the side panel abyss. The replacement part number is:

4B0 867 276 A - Clamp/Clip

Note: Since I had a donor car some of the common items like bolts and screws were transferred without me having to research the replacement part number. Sorry for not detailing these items as well.

Default Nice work Reiner! Glad my 'donor car' could be of assistance

And what do you mean 'roughed up'? She's in damn fine shape for what she has been through. Sheesh.

I was referring specifically just to the tailgate trim and yes, it is in great shape for what it has been through. :P

I am sure our pulling and prodding didn't help either.

Thanks again Eric.

Default I'm in the process, please some help

<center><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a131/mnaranjo/allroad/A70-0255.png"></center><p>I have almost everything for the third row retrofit in my allroad.

escept the floor hard foam base and carpet (I will drill them to fit everything)

Giblet, can you help me with two questions?:

1- has the original hard foam floor base the shape to acomodate the metal seat subframe?

2- can you provide me with a close picture of the top belt pass piece in the D-pillar, and the distance to its base and angle (see picture)

thanks

I would like to put a third seat in an existing A6. Would the project be the same? What do you mean by pay forward? Do you have to cut metal?

"pay forward" in the sense lend any knowledge I can to others trying to do this.

No cutting/drilling of sheet metal required.

If you have a pre-2001 A6 you may actually have the subframe in there already - just lift the carpeted floor. If it is not sitting on a flat metal surface but on a black "X" then you have the subframe. Quite frankly, the easiest way to tell is if you have seat belts coming out of the C pillars.
