Traction control cutting in too often -- and cutting out power
We live at the top of a very twisty and steep single lane road. If I do any of the uphill super tight turns at any kind of power the dash flashes and I the computer cuts power. This is getting to be a big pain. Any way to modify the action of this? Thanks.

Try turning off ESP, button next to the level control?

Could be a misadjusted steering angle sensor
but if the road is very steep with switchbacks I think the weight transfer is weird and one or more tires gets unweighted and wants to spin. The electronic nanny is too aggressive rather than just letting quattro do its mechanical thing. You can hit the button as happy allroaders suggested, but other than they there may be no easy solution to 'tune' the system.

Re: Could be a misadjusted steering angle sensor
The road is super steep. Many of the turns I have issues on are 3 point turns for my father-in-laws F150 pickup. I wish there was just a dial vs. turning it off. I'm afriad I won't turn it back on!!

seriously, push the button on the dash next to the height adjustment buttons.

IIRC it turns itself back on each time the ignition is turned on

Perfect -- thanks!!

Similar problem here...
But mine cuts in on long 35-40 mph sweepers when just driving normally. On the same corner, if I pick up the pace to 50 mph, no issues with traction control. I assume that some sensor(s) need recalibration. I haven't had a chance to mess with it...I need VAG-COM to do it.

No prob. It resets with every start as glidar posted.
Turn the bad boy off. Have a blast.
