Transmission "play"

Transmission "play"
Can anyone advise re a transmission or differential engage/disengage sensation when travelling at 15 -20 mph in tip sports mode. This happens when you slightly accelerate and take your foot off when in slow traffic . It feels as though a there is some play in the drive system.

All of the Audis I've had...
...(all 6) have exhibited this to some degree. The others were manual transmissions, but it also happens with the Tip in this allroad.
I've been told that it's the drivetrain, the combination of AWD and various u-joints. It used to bother me, but I've gotten used to it.
