Default Transmission

Two weeks back I took my car in to have a few things checked (strange sound from driver turbo and jammed cd in the head unit) and walked out later with a new head unit and a replaced transmission( transmission surprised me as I had no indication that there was ever a problem)

This weekend we were in the car and noticed that if you come off the gas, get on the brakes and then get back on the gas we get a huge lag something goes "clunk" and then the car seems to pick up. It seems obvious that something may not be right but my questions is what could this be. the likelihood of another trany failure seems slim. We have 55k on the car and have a had a few issues but nothing really major. Our dealership has been nothing but great with their customer service but i am starting to get a little worried

Any ideas on what could be going on? has anyone else had a transmission that behaves like this

Possibly low tranny fluid. Before I changed mine I would get that periodically.
