I have been told that a wise investment for any Turbocharged car is a Turbo Timer to run the engine automatically for a period of time after use causing the turbos to heat up, such as after "high spirited" driving.
Should I consider one if I have yet to modify my engine/turbos/CPU? I do alot of highway driving but use the car in the mountains alot as well.
Any features that I should look for if I do need to get one?
What is(are) the best brand(s)?....and where should I be able to obtain one at a reasonable price?
Will they affect anyother systems adversely? How about affecting a future chip?...I am considering a MTM chip after warranty.
How tough is the install?

I've read a number of posts here and spoken with a couple of friends more knowledgeable than myself on the turbo issue, and from what I understand, the turbos can cool off just fine on their own. Just don't drive at 100 mph into your garage, and you should be fine.
