Default Turn signal KAPUT. One regulalar flash, two quick ones then nada. Pulled the hazard switch
dismantled the switch itself. The contact points were burned very bad and sticking. I took a jewelers file and filed what I could to clean it up (the hazard contact set looked good) I took it out and tested before assembly, it worked good. Re-assembled the switch and plugged it back in. I have left off the fake wood trim. I will be picking up a new switch. No telling how long my crutch will hold.

Default I now keep a spare ect sensor and hazard switch in my tool crib
seems to be an 12-18 month mean time before failure

I believe it is real wood trim - not fake.

Default A very thin piece of veneer glued to plastic then...
I'll check that again, it was late in the afternoon, the light was low and my eyes are nearing a half century.

It is definitely real wood. Audi does not do fake wood.

Default You've done multiple replacements?
The latest parts have supposedly-improved omron relays, and I didn't think anyone was having failures with them.
