Useful Tire and Wheel Tech Link
Found this site while researching new tires. Lots of possibly useful info.

Also, I see the Falkens are popular with the board. However, reviews I've seen are mixed regarding tread-life. What are AR drivers experiences? I'm also looking at the Yoko Avid H4S. Any thoughts?

http://www.1010tires.com/tech.asp</a

Only 15,000 out of my Falkens
But I had some uneven wear -- there was good tread left on a couple of them when I replaced them. I'm not sure what caused the uneven wear. I've been compulsive about alignments, but I should have rotated the tires more often.

same here, except with my SP9000s.
I just noticed HEAVY uneven wear. Rears were shot, and the fronts looked almost brand new. I've got 4 SP Maxx's sitting in the garage right now, hopefully will M/RFB today. Getting an alignment on Monday, and hopefully will be better about rotating.
Good thing the new tires were on sale, thanks to gragavar's posting.

allroaders looking out for one another
