Vibration on accelerator pedal

Vibration on accelerator pedal
I've been recently getting tingling vibration through the accelerator (aka gas pedal)- nothing major, but wasn't there before so wondering what's causing it. Any ideas?
..... and no, it's not the continual excitement from driving such as great car.....
I've got a 2004 Allroad 2.5TDI 180bhp tiptronic.
Thanks for your help.

Just stabbing in the dark here but that pedal isn't really connected to anything so maybe your inner
cv on the driver's side is bad and the pedal is telegraphic the vibration. Try setting the cruise control on the an open road, slowing down and then resume the cruise but put your foot on the floor behind or around the pedal as the car accels. see if that vibration is also apparent elsewhere. Again I'm just stabbing around here.

Re: if it does it all the time it could be a trans or motor mount the inner cv would likely show up
I took it to the dealer and he checked it out on the codes, no errors shown, reckoned it was just normal engine vibration!
Noticed today that the oil tempersature gauge doesn't rise above the base (60c) for nearly 20 mins after startup and then settles at only 80c (not even quarter way on the guage). This worries me and I think could be linked to the engine noise & vibration. Any ideas???
Thanks

What the dealer said doesn't sound right to me. There is one thing the allroad has over all the other cars I drive, and thats how smooth the ride is. My 12 year old wagon is still quieter and smoother than a new japanese SUV due mainly to the air suspension removing all the road noise and the bumps and vibrations. The wife hates it, she so desperately wants me to buy something newer, but everything I test drive is not as good a ride. So maybe some more analysis is needed, start with the simple things, wheel balance, suspension arm bushes worn, CV joint boots cracked, are the brake disks thin? are the brake pads near replacement? also check the calipers are running smooth. (When I got mine the seller told me he had heaps of issues with brakes and steering, I found one of the calipers was getting stuck causing the pad to vibrate and stick. Simple brake caliper service fixed it up. new rotors, pads and all good.
