Hi All

The research I have shows paying attention to the last 6 digits of the VIN will tell you the sequence of the car...Does anyone know when the 2001.5 Vin number starts or know of a certain sequence to stay away from in the 2001 series?...thanks

Not sure about the vin. Ask the seller for the build date of the car. It's stamped on the drivers side door plate. Many times sellers will take a picture of the plate and post it.

Are you looking at a tip or 6 speed?

I love the thought of having a 6 speed, but I have been focused on Tip. I think the Tip will be better becuase chances are I will be in traffic, and to hard to shift and drink coffee...do you have one for sale?

If your looking for a tip I would go with a 2002. I just had to replace the tranny and torque converter in my 01. Not sure when Audi Identified the torque converter seal issue. I would do a little research on that..
