Well Audi finalized the deal with me!!! Update...Ultimate in Customer Service.
Well Audi made their final offer for the exchange of my allroad due to vibration, steering wheel ossillation, rear end rumble...They offered a Dolphin Grey/Silver Leather package (my choice), S-4 Avant, 2005, Premium Package, Tiptronic, Heated seats, Bose with XM sound, and Sun Shades as a straight across trade for the 2004 allroad, 22,055 miles, worn out Perilli's, Premium package, Cold weather package, no Bose but it does have XM. The mats that I bought for the back/back seat/ front seats, the clear bra, the tires and wheels as well as the roof rack all go with the car (these would not work on the S-4 anyway). No money changes hands. Basically they are going to do a collateral exchange where they change the vin numbers on the loan and I keep paying my original loan off. So of a five year loan I have four more years to pay. I paid over $7000 less for the allroad. I get a newer car by one year. They really went out of their way to please!
That is customer service, they really back up their product! I will be a loyal Audi owner for quite some time.
The exchange will happen next week.
I really hate to leave the allroad forum, the S-4 side has a few characters that are a bit intense from time to time. You guys are a pretty good group!!!

I did the same this summer; you're going to love it.
Welcome to the S4 avant club! I also had a little "help" from Audi in exchanging my allroad for an S4 avant. Just be prepared to wonder where all that gas goes. Even after hearing people comment on the poor mileage, I was still shocked at how fast I could drain the tank. But it's all worth it.
And you're right about the S4 forum....there are some opinionated people there, and you'll have to wade through some juvenile "I raced an M3 last night..." posts. But it's a good place. Welcome!

I told myself that too...
...and then I proceeded to run up huge gas bills each month. But it's so much fun. Would you believe though that I haven't had any time for pics of the new car? I'll take some this weekend after I detail. Enjoy!
