Default Well, I'm back from Montana. My allroad performed flawlessly as expected. I really love this car!

Road trips are so nice in the allroad! I'm used to taking my wifes '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It's a nice rig, but man... the allroad just kicks it's butt in ever category except maybe ground clearance. It was a fun trip (about 1300 miles total). My check engine light (Failed torque converter seal) even went away and hasn't come back yet. The packasport is a life saver. We have a 2 1/2 year old and have to take a lot of gear with us. I got my golf clubs and about half of our luggage up there. Certainly makes for a less crammed allroad! I do lose over 1-2 mpg though with it on. Please note I took this pic after I loaded the car and before I started it... the car had not had a chance to correct the ride height yet after I loader her up.

Here are a few pics, I will post some great scenery shots and wildlife pics as well as soon as my wife processes all the pics (she shoots in RAW). Here are a few that I took of the car.

You'll notice I came home with some LOOT! Trout Slayer Ale is one of my all time favorites, and it's only available in Montana. Well they are discontinuing it soon (changing the name, etc) so I stopped by the Bayern brewery and stocked up (one more case behind the others). If any of you local allroader's want to try one, hit me up. Que the song "96 bottles of beer in the boot, 96 bottles of beer...."

Default Missoula, MT.... also check out Big Sky Brewing - Home of...

Moose Drool
Slow Elk Stout
Powder Hound and
Scape Goat...

I miss Griz Whiz, it was a tasty beer as well.

I'm heading to MT by plane in early june, then the allroad is heading out in August for about 10 days w/ the dogs packed in the back.

Default Yup, it's in Missoula, on Montana Street.

Big Sky is also a good brewery. Moose Drool is very good indeed.

I have some amazing real 'scenery' pics from other trips(Glacier national park, etc...) that make these look rather boring but still it was a fun trip. We saw elk, bison, deer, antelope, coyote, bald eagles, mountain goats and a plethora of other animals. Pretty fun trip! I'll try to get some shots off the allroad in action next time

Default I was just back home in Hamilton two weeks ago.

Trout Slayer and Moose Drool. My two favorites. Good call.

must be a lot of beer since the back of your allroad is sitting pretty low
