Well, I've got another allroad on order now. We changed an allocated car vice ordering from....
scratch, which should shave a month or so off the wait. Still, it will wind up being like 8 months from original order to delivery. Whew! At least I know it'll be worth it when it finally gets here.

Too bad about the wait, but great that you can get what you want
I was worried about something similar happening, and even if I hadn't been particular about anything else, the 6 speed/no sunroof would have guaranteed a completely fresh start. Sorry about your delay, but at least after hearing your story my wife doesn't (quite) think any more that I was being unduly paranoid.

have not but am getting new information on a weekly basis.
This weekend there was a large fold out advertisement in the San Jose Mercury news. Will have to see it in person, but everything about it, says "oh ya!".. Will see if I can truly like the lines.
but the specs are sweet the really nice Nav, nice power and wonderful Infinity service (from what I hear) and in the $40K range.
