Default What happened here???-----more-----

Thanks to all who encouraged me to buy my allroad off lease in my post last monday. It seems like the right thing to do--Sooo, yesterday I start the AR and 3 warning lights display--ABS, self leveling suspension light and the ESP light--the manual says that all these are connected someway--so I drove to my destination (12 miles) and the car operated fine but the lights stayed on continous. Two hours later--start the car and lights went out --what happened?? Just a glitch?--will the dealer be able to read a fault?? I may have to have dealer inspect the car for an extended warranty!--If he sees a fault code I may be screwed.

Default BTDT, ABS module or brake light switch...

Bring it to the dealer, they will be able to tell you which one it is.

Default Let me check, I've had the same this morning, Temp drop from 55 to 20 and she is acting weird

I'll plug in the VAG to see if there are any codes.
Actually, it happened twice this morning, but waiting a minute or so with the ignition switched off and restarting the car that eliminated the dash lights.

For now I assume the Temp drop and moisture could cause that and because the car is running fine it shouldn't be a big deal.

Default I've had this happen MANY Times..

When you see it next drive for ten minutes, shut the ar and wait a minute. State it again the lites are usually out. Don't both going to the deale In my experience no codes are stored.. its just a glitch that happens. When the light don't go out that is when you go to the dealer. FOr me it was the ABS Module, it was replaced at 40K. It has occured 5x more and I now have 87K.. they go back out every time.
