What's the deal on the Allroad sharing colors with Porsches?

Default What's the deal on the Allroad sharing colors with Porsches?

I don't think it is anymore but I swear Cobalt Blue used to be a Porsche color. Atlas Grey is available on the GT3 now (and probably other Porsches) as well. Are colors of manufacturers their own and nobody else's or do they just make a general habit of not offering identical colors (excluding silver and black)?

Well, I know that porsche shares colors with BMW, too. My brother has an Artic Silver M-Roadster and my 996 is Artic Silver - same paint codes (we went thru that when ordering a techart spoiler for the 996)
