As I said in an earlier post, I'm buying a used allroad in Portugal. Thing is, I want the owners manual in English. Is there somewhere I can get one for a 2001 allroad 2.5 TDi? A URL that has PDFs's or a retialer or Audi site that does them? Of can anyone copy theirs and send it to me?

...I'm in a somewhat less civilized location than you. Maybe the regional distributor is the way to go.

The Audi web site (which get to as audiusa.com, but there are others, too) has a short pamphlet version as a pdf -- but the full version is far too large for that (>100pp). We have a fellow in Ireland with a TDI here (no TDIs in the US), and maybe he'll have an idea. HPH

Unfortunately, I have neither manual nor car, YET!
However I sympathise greatly with Steel Horse, as I was in the same position as he, wanting the manual for the diesel, so I have filed this post in my things to do folder on my desktop. My car is currently in the country and will be delivered to the local showroom in 1-2 weeks. They want to keep it on exibition until shortly before Xmas, I ain't registering until the new year, got my number booked too, 03DL25 (2.5L being the cc of the engine). However, I will have the manual AND both sets of keys shortly.
I'll scan the manual and send it to Steel Horse, if he can wait for a fortnight.

And -- duh (sound of hand smacking upside head) -- I had brain lock this morning. An Owner's Manual (along with the repair manual on CD) can be ordered from Bentley, if you want to pay for it. So far no luck with the local dealers. At first fiddling with the ***** was a blast, but when it gets down to the rather esoteric stereo controls and car maintenance I REALLY need that manual.

So thanks again - I'll keep trying until youu say you are ready to fax it - drop me an email and I'll send you my fax number.
