Hi guys ang girls I am a newbie from Ireland, I am thinking of buyin a 2001 2.7t auto , 139.000 miles fsh, recaro leather seats , in great condition but not sure if it would be a good buy @ 4000.00 euros, its RangeRover p38 teritory.

There great cars. Be prepared for maintenance. Synthetic oil changes. Get the transmission fluid changed. Make sure its had a timing belt. If it stinks at all like burning oil after driving it or while driving it it will need the top end of the engine resealed. Air suspension is expensive and troublesome. Auto transmissions fail from neglect and lack of fluid changes. Almost nothing on a 2.7T is easy or cheap to repair. Do not buy it expecting it to be a Toyota Camry.

Sounds like a good car then. Especially for the price. With that kind of maintenance you should have many miles of dependable service from it.

At that price it sounds like GTa (Grand Theft, allroad) to me.

You can easily spend another 4k euros for the timeout maintenance if no relevant parts have been changed to date (engine top sealings (200 eur), timing belt and accessories(360), 4x aftermarket air bags (960 eur), aftermarket(!) STRUTS!! (700 eur), compressor (360), tiptronic control valve rebuild 70-80% probability (380) and oils (150) , 10x front alu control arms (~450), lots of aftermarket silicon turbo hoses (220)). Prices without labor cost.
No joke. Check all of them thoroughly. In case of AR it is especially true that the it is more feasible to buy a more expensive exemplar, having changed the majority of the above items.
